In-house training
PDF tutorials

SwiftGraphics offers a variety of learning options, from beginner to advanced, in one-on-one lessons in your workplace.

Training can be a full day – from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday, or any other times to suit your schedule.

Note: the minimum training session is two hours.

Experience has shown that on average, a first time user can start creating basic projects after one day of training combined with free on-going follow up help via email and short refresher sessions.

Your training session includes useful, relevant, printed tutorials which take you through a specific area of Affinity Publisher e.g. Creating Tables, Numbering Pages etc. The tutorials are available as PDFs.

When you archive your tutorials they will combine to create a handy reference library.

Tutorials can be supplied to meet your specific needs.

Below are some of the units covered in the basic Puublisher course:

  • Publisher workspace

  • Create a new document

  • Develop master pages

  • Text and graphic placement

  • Layers

  • Managing and formatting text

  • Managing objects

  • Utilising colour swatches

  • Effects

  • Tabs and tables

  • Preparing files for print

  • Creating Acrobat PDF files.

NOTE: It is advisable to purchase Affinity Photo so you can prepare images in the correct file format and colour mode (CMYK or RGB) before placing into Affinity publisher.
If you buy or own Affinity Photo I can show you how to do this.

All courses can also be tailored to meet your unique needs
